First, many gyms limit the time each client can spend on a treadmill. You may not be able to put in more than 30 or 60 minutes per workout, so your mileage will be substantially limited. Early in your training, this isn't a problem. But eventually, you'll need to log more miles. If you have a home treadmill, you may not have the time restrictions. I know treadmills and the weight limits are based on what the walking. When you try it out at the store does the motor bog down at all when you take steps? It's actually easier on the treadmill when you use the incline function. There is much less force put onto the treadmill and its still pretty effective.

Well, technically it's my grandma's treadmill, but she lets me use it.
I'm afraid I might break it. I weigh 320 right now. It definitely works when I'm on it, but every now and again the belt slips a little, like it hates me for running on it.
I tried to find the weight limits for the particular treadmill online, but I don't think they make it anymore? Its a Image 10.2QL.
I'm worried that it might soon break because of me, which would probably really piss off my grandma.
Is this something that happens often?
